Missing Pattern?

Missing Pattern or Forgotten?

I did not included one pattern on Book 1 for the tambourine dance because I accidentally forgot to include it and that was the pattern called Tribute which I do hope I can show here if I still have the time to post another tutorial video clip.

Most of the patterns are to be remembered by practicing it. It will be so difficult if in time you don't seem to dance the pattern and you forgot some of the hand movements as well as the foot works. I really do mind to take time and practice those patterns that are somewhat difficult to execute. But so far, I am still on a venture to add more of the patterns here. I do hope to start the Book 2 Patterns by next year with the help of some sisters in faith.

I will also add a help from my other friends who are also tambourine dancers just like me to share their experience here as I do like them to be part of this wonderful ministry in helping out or reaching out youths who are also gifted or talented to dance before God. To God be the Glory.

Do You Have the Passion to Dance?

Maybe most of us here have watched a lot of movies regarding dance and the different varieties of it. One of the movies that I have seen regarding dance was the sequel of Step Up the Movie. It does show great talents on how they dance and the different genre of their dances.

But particularly I did post the question to ask you if you have the passion to dance before the Lord Jesus Christ. I do dance, but I offer it to God alone and it is not the same dance that we often see on television. The dance of this world is offered not to God but to the god of this world.

We Christians should realize that what we do here on earth will just be a practice of what we are going to do for eternity, not unless you fall short of that vision. A passion is something that you desire no matter how hard it will be. In any circumstance, you still can find time to practice it and be patient to improve your craft and maintain the flame that is within you. What is important is that you share this passion to others by encouraging them no matter how they say they have two left feet. If your heart says so, then why not try it. Age is not the reason why you hinder yourself to dance. You only need to practice and once you are used to it, there will be no reason to feel shy. But of course, nobody should force you on something that you don’t want to do in the first place. It also needs courage to stand up and be brave on what you do.

Passion to dance cannot be dictated by anyone. You need to be initiative and see to it that you like what you do and not because others just influenced you. If your only motive to dance before God is to show off and be made known to others, then it is all vague and you have missed the real point. It is not because of you, it is because of God who has given you everything, including His life. So in order to give back the love that God showed, dancing before Him is really a form of praise and adoration. Would you like to dance before God?

Psalm 149:3 “Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.”
