Mechowlah means “dance or “group of dancers” and pronounced as “Mek-o-law” while Kara is also a Hebrew word which means to dance. So to combine both the Hebrew word it means “group of dancer to dance”. It is a ministry I started back home when I was teaching tambourine dance to a group of females although I also pray that someday soon we will be having men who are called and are ready to dance before God.
Actually it was already a second batch of group that I taught tambourine dance patterns and I am really happy to what God is doing in that ministry. I would just like to share the ministry that God has entrusted me and my site is dedicated to His Glory and also to help aspirant tambourine dancers who wants to know more about tambourine dancing.
As a Ministry head of Mechowlah Kara, I would also like to reach my students to remember the patterns I have taught them. It is important that our heart is set right before God as we dance. Discipline is also a part of the ministry wherein we subject our bodies to be holy and pleasing to God as we give our sacrifice of Praise. Endurance is also being developed as each pattern teaches us to persevere in the calling that we have answered.
Our emblem stands because of God who is worthy of all the praise and glory. In due time we will be updating our logo and give it more color and be vibrant. But in the mean time, let this be a symbol of our faith to continue our dance before the Lord Almighty. To God be the Glory!
